Yamaha Reveals Stunning Noriyuki Haga Retro Livery for Dutch MotoGP
Yamaha has unveiled its latest one-off livery, which is a retro Noriyuki Haga livery that will be raced at this weekend’s Dutch MotoGP.

Yamaha’s 70-year anniversary celebrations are continuing, and in style, I might add, as the Japanese brand has taken the covers off its special Noriyuki Haga retro livery for this weekend’s Dutch MotoGP.
No strangers to a special one-off livery, this is arguably the best one yet from Yamaha, but it won’t just be used by the factory rider pairing of Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins, as Prima Pramac’s Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira will also use the same livery.
Founded on July 1 1995, the Iwata-based brand annually celebrates what it calls ‘Yamaha Day’. The new paint scheme, which features red across the front mud guard, fuel tank and side fairing, has been combined with white and black to create the look Haga used in the WorldSBK championship during the 1999 season while riding the short-lived R7.

The Dutch Grand Prix has traditionally been a favourite venue for Yamaha, and while it’s unlikely it, or any other brand, can stop Ducati this weekend, the M1 bikes will certainly look the part during Sunday’s race, which will also mark the 100th Dutch TT.
In an unveiling that took place across the start-finish line at Assen, Yamaha’s four MotoGP riders pulled back the covers with the entire team in attendance.
Speaking about the new livery for this weekend, Yamaha Racing Managing Director Paolo Pavesio, said: "Today marked a truly symbolic moment as both of Yamaha‘s MotoGP teams united on the grid, showcasing the four MotoGP bikes alongside the iconic 1999 YZF-R7. The powerful visual of the two teams becoming one by using the same livery represents more than just a shared track presence – it reflects our, as of this year, new strategic mindset: we are one and stronger together.

"July 1st, known as 'Yamaha Day', marks the founding of Yamaha Motor – a moment we celebrate with pride each year. This year, the occasion holds even greater significance as we commemorate Yamaha's 70th anniversary, a remarkable milestone in our journey of engineering excellence and motorsports heritage.”
