It’s Official: Toprak Razgatlıoğlu Joins Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP for 2026
The ink is currently drying on Toprak Razgatlıoğlu’s Prima Pramac Yamaha contract, as the Turkish sensation moves to MotoGP in 2026

The news that we could all see coming has been confirmed, as Toprak Razgatlıoğlu moves to the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP team for the 2026 season.
Currently a BMW factory rider in World Superbike, Razgatlıoğlu returns to the Yamaha family, after claiming the title for the Iwata brand in 2021. He’s been touted as a future MotoGP rider for some time now, fuelling the speculation by undertaking tests on the M1 while still racing for the Japanese factory.
While the move to the Pramac team and not the factory team may seem like a sideways step for one of World Superbike’s front-runners, Razgatlıoğlu will be receiving factory support in the Pramac squad, putting him on (almost) the same machinery as Quatararo and Alex Rins.

Speaking about the news, Paolo Pavesio, Managing Director, Yamaha Motor Racing, said:
"We are thrilled to welcome Toprak back into the Yamaha family. Toprak, the most victorious Yamaha rider of all time in Superbike, has proven to be an exceptional talent, securing the WorldSBK Title twice, which is no mean feat. His transition to MotoGP is both a 'homecoming' and an exciting new challenge that's been set up with the clear goal of progressive growth over time.
“His fighting spirit and determination are a perfect fit for both the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP Team and Yamaha's bold MotoGP strategy, so we believe 2026 is the right time to make the move that many fans have been waiting for."
