Shoei announces limited edition Dean Harrison lid
Shoei announces a limited-edition helmet celebrating TT and road-racing legend Dean Harrison.
Shoei Helmets UK has announced a limited edition helmet celebrating the achievements of road racing hero Dean Harrison.
The Shoei Classic TT X-SPR Pro features the five-time TT winner’s race paint and personal sponsor livery. Hand painted by Rage Designs, the helmet will only be available to order for just eight days.
Priced at £999.99 the Classic TT X-SPR Pro helmet uses the acclaimed X-SPR Pro as its base. The high-performance helmet has been the weapon of choice for some of the best riders in the world, including Harrison, Marc Marquez, and Toprak Razgatlioglu.
Pre-order of the Classic TT X-SPR Pro begins at 12:00 on Saturday 11 October. The ordering window then closes promptly at midnight on Sunday 19 October. The helmets will be individually numbered in line with when orders are placed, and Shoei assures customers that every pre-order will be fulfilled.
Rage Designs is the same team behind Harrison’s actual race lids and every Classic TT X-SPR Pro will be produced to the exact specification he used at this year’s Classic TT.
“This limited edition is more than a replica,” states a media release from Shoei. “It’s an exact reproduction of the helmet Dean raced in, including personal sponsor detail and authentic hand finish.”
In addition to being individually numbered, each helmet will be hand signed by Harrison and include a certificate of authenticity.
