Marc Marquez gets back on a bike for the first time in almost two months following his left shoulder surgery as he bids to return to full fitness for the 2019 MotoGP season.
Repsol Honda has released a video of the reigning MotoGP world champion returning to action on a Honda NSF100 mini bike at Circuit d’Alcarras in Lleida close to his home in Spain.
Marquez was accompanied by physiotherapist Carlos J. Garcia who has overseen his rehabilitation over the winter. The Repsol Honda rider has already said he doesn’t expect to be 100% fit for the Sepang official pre-season test but is confident of being untroubled by his shoulder in time for the 2019 season opener in Qatar on March 10.
