REGISTRATION for the KTM RC390 Cup has opened with prices for the series confirmed.
The RC390 race bike, available only from a KTM dealer, will cost £6,425 (excluding VAT) and comes with fully-adjustable WP suspension, an Akraprovic exhaust, track fairings, CNC rearsets, R&G sliders and a number of other KTM PowerParts.
Series registration costs £2,100 and is open to 13-18-year-olds. Interested riders will need to put down a deposit of £300 on the BSB Teams website to activate their inclusion for the championship.
Riders and teams who commit to the series before 16 January, 2015 will receive an additional set of wheels, ideal for fitting with wet weather tyres.
KTM says: ‘the series has been created to provide equal opportunity and a level playing field for emerging talent and will be spread across eight events incorporating 20 points-scoring races.
‘Two official tests, subject to confirmation, are also planned in March 2015.’
