Bridewell lands another WorldSBK shot with Go Eleven Ducati
Tommy Bridewell will again ride the Go Eleven Ducati in the WorldSBK championship at Jerez
Tommy Bridewell will be back on the World Superbike Championship grid at Jerez after Go Eleven Ducati confirmed he will continue to substitute for the injured Eugene Laverty.
The Briton – currently running second in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship – produced an eye-catching performance for the team at Imola earlier in the month despite only jumping on the Ducati Panigale V4 R from FP3.
As reported by Crash.net last week, Bridewell is now confirmed to be getting another race outing on the Go Eleven bike in Spain.
With the benefit of more track time to understand the electronics in particular, Bridewell is confident he can offer a stronger challenge and ‘push hard’, while the team itself says there is 'no expectations, no claims, no pressure'.
"I’m very happy and excited to get another outing on the WSBK stage. In Imola it was very rushed and we did a good job with the time we had, but now for Jerez I expect to be more strong.
“We have been working very hard to understand this new V4R Ducati and I feel great on the bike so once I re adapt to the Factory electronics we can start to push hard."
