Premier introduces 'noiseless' helmet range

Premier helmets has made a bold claim for its new Vyrus range - it is apparently noiseless due to a huge amount of work done in the wind tunnel...

The Vyrus, Premier claim, is the result of research and a comprehensive airflow study by its R&D Department to boasts cutting-edge design and with maximum aerodynamic performance without compromising when it comes to a comfortable fit.

It is created in a thermo-plastic material that is highly-resistant to impact and has the ability to dissipate energy resulting from any kind of impact. The inner shell is moulded in differentiated density EPS to ensure maximum protection and absorption. The interior is available in two different sizes.

The ventilation system involves three adjustable air vents, one on the chin piece and two on the upper part of the shell. Fresh air enters via these air vents and is channelled around the inside of the helmet before exiting via the rear extractor, also adjustable, guaranteeing the ideal temperature for the rider.

It also features a dark, scratch-proof internal sun shield does away with the need for sunglasses but, at the same time, can be easily disabled when entering a tunnel, thanks to an ergonomic lever located on the lower left edge of the external shell.

The visor can be replaced and adjusted without the use of tools. Injection-moulded in transparent polycarbonate, it is 2.2 mm thick, anti-scratch treated and suitable for use with the extremely useful Pinlock® anti-fogging system. A Pinlock® lens is provided as standard. It has an external housing through which the cables needed to install Bluetooth technology can easily be positioned.

The helmet is available with more than ten different graphics, is available in sizes from XS to XL. The multi-coloured version comes with a £175, while the block colour version costs £153 Euro.
