Latest Arai Isle of Man TT motorcycle helmet offers stunning, refreshed look

The 2024 Arai Isle of Man TT special edition motorcycle helmet has launched, with a new look to reflect the refreshed branding of the event

Arai RX-7V Evo Isle of Man TT Limited Edition

The Isle of Man TT is growing stronger in recent years, but its partnership with Arai continues as ever into 2024, with the newest special edition helmet recently unveiled by the Japanese company.

The Isle of Man TT was one of the few events to revive itself in the post-Covid world in a positive and progressive way. A new neo-retro branding style combined with live broadcasts of practices and races in 2022, and helped reconfirm the Isle of Man TT’s position as an invaluable and vital fixture on the global racing calendar.

Arai calls this “The recently renewed style of the Isle of Man TT Races,” and says that the new special edition design for its RX-7V Evo full-face motorcycle helmet has been inspired by this “renewed style”. The design, put together as ever by the famous Italian artist Aldo Drudi, features racing stripes, and, as ever, key components such as the Triskelion (three legs of man) and a bold TT logo on the sides; as well as a subtle chequered flag motif and ‘Ellan Vannin’ (Isle of Man in Manx) written on the bottom.

On the safety front, the Arai RX-7V Evo base means a “rounder, stronger and smoother outer shell that excels in Glancing Off (impact energy management),” Arai says.

Akihito Arai, Arai Helmet (Europe) B.V. Managing Director, said: “Wow. This is always a special moment for all of us at Arai Helmet and the 2024 RX-7V Limited Edition EVO IoM TT is absolutely amazing. Drudi Performance has excelled and created something so fresh, yet with all the elements of the design that fans and collectors expect. We had no idea when we started 15 years ago how important every year’s special TT helmet would become to so many people. All I can say now is – roll on next year’s TT!”

Pricing hasn’t yet been announced, but the Arai RX-7V Evo Limited Edition Isle of Man TT is expected to be available to purchase from The Visor Shop from either May or June 2024.
