Luxurious Italian restaurant Gigi has entered into a surprising collaboration with Vespa, which is set to lead to 100 unit limited-edition Primavera 125 scooters wearing a sun-kissed yellow colourway.

The chain also has restaurants located in Dubai and Miami Beach just to give you an idea of how luxurious we’re talking, however, it was the company’s Saint-Tropez location that was chosen for the reveal of the new special edition model.

The exclusive colourway is said to pay homage to Gigi’s origins, according to Vespa, and is supposed to create the feeling of riding around the Italian Riviera.

The new limited-edition model is available for order at a price of €12,000 (around £10,200), while two of the models created will be reserved for display throughout the summer at the Gigi Saint-Tropez location.

In terms of the scooter’s details, the special edition Primavera 125 gets a padded seat that’s finished in a cognac colour and mated to ivory stitching. A luggage rack is also found on the front of the scooter, featuring leather straps designed to hold beach towels and other similar products. At the rear is a chrome luggage rack that can be seen carrying a wicker basket.

Additionally, the Vespa x Gigi Primavera 125 features ivory-white wheel rims, paired with open-sidewall tyres.

The new model comes less than one month after Vespa revealed the new Edizione Ottantesimo, which has been produced in 1,946 units to celebrate the brand’s 80th anniversary in 2026.
