YAMAHA has announced the pricing for its all-new MT-07-powered Ténéré 700.
Online orders for the exciting new adventure model will open at 1pm on 27th March, with prices starting at a discounted £8399 (excluding OTR charges). The online order system will end, and with it the exclusive discount, on 31st July 2019.
Initial deliveries will commence in July and availability in dealerships will follow from September, when the bike will cost from £8699 (plus OTR). To say we’re excited would be a HUGE understatement.
The new model will also be available in a restricted 47 horsepower (35kW) version, with both coming in three colour options of Ceramic Ice, Competition White or Power Black.

First seen as the awesome T7 concept back in 2016, the Ténéré 700 has evolved into a bonafide road and off-piste beast. And while admittedly not as radical as the original concept, it still boasts that rally-esque front end and genuine off-road potential.
Directly descended from the T7 concept, the Ténéré 700 features Yamaha’s CP2, 689cc, parallel-twin engine and a completely new chassis.
It promises to be light, compact, nimble, while providing an excellent power delivery from the smooth and economical high-torque engine. The 220-mile range and excellent off-road performance will combine to make for a seriously impressive adventure machine. Switchable ABS and state of the art long travel suspension also feature.
Yamaha claim the Ténéré 700 has been ‘developed in the toughest environments by some of the world's most experienced rally racers’, and judging by the teaser videos, the bike has seriously been put through its paces…
A comprehensive accessory list will be available with the new bike, including luggage and comfort-improving options. And, of course, there will be several rally-oriented items to further sharpen the bike's performance and style.
