THE second adventure motorcycle to land in the UK from the Loncin-owned brand is landing on UK shores, as the Voge 650 DSX is announced for the UK market.
Like the 500DS we reported on in the summer of last year, the 650 DSX is a middleweight adventure machine, unlike the 500DS, its aspirations are much more swaying towards the off-road side life.

Powering the bike is a 652cc, 47bhp single-cylinder engine that enables the machine to sail in just under the A2-compliant limit. The move to a one-pot thumper makes the Voge a slightly leftfield and somewhat interesting proposition in the market – a market that is flooded with multi-platform parallel twin-cylinder adventure motorcycles.
Chassis-wise, the Voge 650 DSX comes with an adventure-ready 19” front wheel and 17” rear, with both ends shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally hoops. Suspension is taken care of by KYB, with USD forks and a rear mono-shock. There is no mention in the release about adjustability, although, given the budget nature of the bike and its sub-£6.5k price tag, we’d assume that some mechanical pre-load at the rear would be the limit. Like the suspension, the braking system is budget stuff, although the Nissin calipers used can work well if set up correctly. Cornering ABS isn’t mentioned, and at this price point, it would if it were included, although Voge does tell us that the rear ABS is switchable for when riding off-road.
The cockpit of the Voge 650 DSX is crowned by a neat-looking TFT dash, something that can look a bit tacky on some Chinese-made motorcycles. Not the case here though, as the system looks clean, easy to read, and fairly well sorted. A tyre pressure monitoring system is also included, along with an adjustable screen, USB port, sequential LED indicators, off-road pegs (with rubber inserts), and a rear luggage rack.
For those looking for a more rugged, off-road-ready look, the Voge 650 DSX can be upgraded with a full luggage option for £899.99, or purchased with the set already fitted for an extra five hundred quid.
