New learner supermoto and enduro

SFM ZZ125 and ZX125 revealed

OK, so SFM doesn’t register highly on the famous-bike-firms-ometer but there’s a good chance you have heard of Sachs; that’s the name the company used to trade under.

So this isn’t just another Chinese company reworking old Japanese designs and selling them under multiple trade names, but a German firm. Like BMW. Sort of. Still imported to the UK by 3X Motorcycles, SFM has just released a pair of learner-legal machines in this country.

According to the official press release:

Both the supermoto styled ZZ 125 and enduro inspired ZX 125 retain proven engine technology used in previous models, but in a chassis which has been completely redesigned. Its single-cylinder four-stroke engine makes 11.5 HP (8.4 kW) and is carried in a modern bridge frame that delivers high stability, particularly on bends. Other advanced features on the ZX-ZZ series include wave disc brakes front and rear, upside-down forks and digital speedometer.

So there you go. And for £1999 either of them could be yours. Check out www.sfmbikes.co.uk for all the details.
