Moto Guzzi V85 TT specs, tech and video

With the launch of Moto Guzzi’s new adventure bike nearly upon us, we thought we’d bring everything we know so far

Moto Guzzi V85 TT specs, tech and video

MOTO GUZZI’S V85 TT is the Italian brands latest foray into the slightly overcrowded and highly competitive adventure bike segment. With the Stelvio no longer with us, the V85 TT is looking to plug the gap and get Guzzi back into the adventure bike market.

The V85 TT (TT meaning Tutti Terreno – all terrain) is a two bike model range featuring the Grigio Atacama and Giallo Sahara. Two versions are available, a base model and Enduro Premium version with red painted frame, two-tone paintwork.

The bike features a full-colour dash, with what looks like Piaggio’s (M-G’s owners) mobile phone integration system.

The V85 TT introduces a new Moto Guzzi engine and like all current Moto Guzzi’s, it’s an air-cooled transverse mounted, 90° V-twin with OHV with two valves per cylinder. Engine capacity is 853 cc, with a bore and stroke of 84 x 77 mm. It has 80HP and 80Nm (59ft-lb) at 5,000 rpm, with Moto Guzzi claiming 90% of the torque is available at 3,750 rpm.

The V85 TT has three different riding modes: Road, Rain, and Off-road. Each of these Riding Modes corresponds to a different engine mapping and a different ABS and MGCT traction control calibration, as well as a different response from the Ride-by-Wire throttle.
