First of the 2013 Harley-Davidsons

Prepare for some seriously long names...

THIS may turn out to be the only story in Visordown's history where the bikes' names make up more of the text than the rest of the words combined. It's the first of the new Harleys for 2013.

No pictures yet, but we've got a leaked list of new models. Warning: 2013 is Harley's 110th anniversary, so you might see a theme developing.

First up, we've got the top-of-the-range CVO machines, all powered by the massive 1802cc V-twin. New for 2013 are the CVO Road Glide Custom Anniversary Edition, CVO Road King, CVO Road King Anniversary Edition and CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide Anniversary Edition. Last year's CVO Softtail Convertible and CVO Street Glide are dropped.

Moving down a peg to the touring range, with the 1688cc engine, there's the new Road King Anniversary Edition and on three wheels the Tri Glide Anniversary Edition.

In the Sportster line-up, the new model is the Sportster 1200 Custom Anniversary Edition, while it looks like the Nightster is being ditched.

Then in the Dyna and Softail lines there's the new Fat Boy Special Anniversary Edition, Heritage Softail Classic Anniversary Edition and Super Glide Custom Anniversary Edition.

At the moment we're led to believe that “Anniversary Edition” means black paint and some special badges.

Harley are also rumoured to be reinventing the Buell Blast, a 500cc single aimed at new riders and the emerging markets.
