KTM reveals 187bhp Brabus 1400 R Signature
KTM reveals a new Brabus 1400 R Signature model based on the brand’s 1390 Super Duke R Evo.

KTM has welcomed a new hyper naked child after revealing the all-new Brabus 1400 R Signature model, which uses the same technological platform as the 1390 Super Duke R Evo.
The Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition “is a statement of raw strength and modern elegance, defined by BRABUS’s signature “Black and Bold” design aesthetic and featuring exclusive Widestar bodywork”, according to a KTM press release.
KTM’s partnership with Brabus previously yielded the 2023 1300 R, and more recently the 1300 R Masterpiece model. However, the new model is the most powerful of the lot and is heavily kitted out in carbon fibre parts.

As is standard practice with any KTM Brabus model, the Austrian company has produced the new bike in very limited quantities, and with a wallet-damaging price. Only 100 units have been revealed worldwide, while the price comes in at £44,299. That’s £300 more than the Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition.
The new model features KTM’s 1,350cc LC8 V-Twin engine, which delivers 190hp (or 187.3bhp) and 107 Ib-ft of torque. A special underseat dual-pipe exhaust has been fitted to add further luxury appeal to the new hyper naked bike’s aggressive looks.
Like other bespoke vehicles that feature Brabus badging, the bike’s upholstery boasts a premium combination of Brabus Masterpiece leather and Dinamica microfiber.
Hinting at its future plans, KTM says “the Brabus 1400 R Signature variant is the first luxury hyper naked bike of a brand-new model series - defined by an all-new signature aesthetic and more power than ever before.”
Providing stopping power for the new Brabus 1400 model is Brembo’s Hypure four-piston monoblock braking system. The front calipers grip 320mm Wave brake discs, while the rear comprises twin-piston floating calipers that are paired with a 240mm Wave disk.

WP APEX Semi-Active Technology (SAT) suspension is also featured, with the Brabus 1400 boasting electronically controlled magnetic valves for variable damping. The front suspension setup is paired with an adjustable WP APEX SAT rear shock absorber.
New owners of the Brabus 1400 R Signature will find a total of five riding modes, including Street, Sport, Rain, Performance and Track. The last two focus on all-out power delivery, while offering detailed rider customisation options and a selection of track-ready adjustments.
A large, full-colour TFT display offers access to all these settings and Ride Modes via illuminated handlebar switches. The display features a specific Brabus design scheme, including a unique start-up animation.

Each of the 100 units will be delivered with an exclusive range of extended accessories. These include a premium, tailor-made indoor cover, as well as a “high-grade Brabus exhibition carpet”. Additionally, a leather ignition key cover is included, as is a carbon fibre key box containing one of 100 CNC-machined tabletop emblems for display.
The new model is available to order as we speak.
