Indian Motorcycle reveals new Anniversary campaign
Indian Motorcycle is celebrating its 126-year anniversary in 2026 with a new ‘Never Finished’ campaign.

Regarded as America’s oldest motorcycle company, Indian Motorcycle will celebrate its 125-year anniversary in 2026, with a year-long campaign that’s set to tap into its past and future.
Indian Motorcycle’s first-ever model rolled off the production line in 1901, and over its 125-year history, the company has become synonymous with producing V-twin motorcycles.
Its first model was named the Indian Single, and it was introduced by founders George Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom. By 1913, the company had become the market leader, producing 30,000 units annually in what was the world’s largest motorcycle factory at the time.
Hendee and Hedstrom didn’t come from true motorcycle backgrounds, with the pair enjoying successful bicycle careers during the 19th century. Both men then joined forces to engineer gasoline-powered bicycles to use in competitive races, before moving on to motorcycles.
Indian Motorcycle hasn’t always had the best of times during its 125 years of existence, as it went through a hiatus for more than five decades, which began in 1953.
Fast-forward to 2026; the company’s new ‘Never Finished’ campaign will set out to revisit the spirit and innovation behind Indian’s motorcycle heritage, as well as the work put in by Hendee and Hedstrom. But it will also give us a glimpse into its future.

In 2026, Indian Motorcycle is planning to celebrate its 125th anniversary through a variety of new products, programmes, and rider promotions. As part of a press release it goes on to say that more information will be shared throughout the year.
Nate Secor, Director of Marketing for Indian Motorcycle, said this about the new anniversary campaign:
“The pursuit of innovation that drove our founders continues to drive us today. Whether through design, engineering, or marketing, we push ourselves every day to honour that legacy. The Never Finished campaign isn’t just a celebration of our 125-year history, it’s a commitment to our riders that we are always innovating, always competing, and will always be pushing forward.”
