It’s no surprise that Honda’s GB350S, which was also voted the best A2 bike of the year in our 2025 Visordown Awards, regained top spot. It opened the year as the best-selling modern classic for both January and February, a trend which continued through to the end of July, in fact.

It enjoyed its biggest month in March, with a total of 299 units sold across the UK, according to stats provided by the MCIA (Motorcycle Industry Association). April and May were also very successful months for the GB350S, with 178 and 256 recorded sales, respectively.

But in August it was replaced as the UK’s best-seller by the Triumph Speed 400. The Hinckley-based company maintained its position at the top with the Speed 400 in September, before the BSA Bantam 350 took over top spot.

Like its British counterpart, the Bantam 350 stayed on top for a second consecutive month in November. However, the GB350S ultimately ended the year as it began, selling a category-leading 58 units for December.

Here is a rundown of the most sales per month for a modern classic motorcycle in the UK, for 2025.

Adventure segment dominated by BMW again

Like Honda in the modern classic segment, BMW was often the chart-topping brand when it came to the most adventure models sold per month in 2025.

In the month of December it was BMW’s R1300 GS which had the most units sold in the UK, with 146. That’s the highest tally for the R1300 GS in a single month in 2025, although the highest overall total (in one month) went the way of its R1300 GS Adventure sibling, with 359 units sold in March.
