Honda reveals new CB250SS scrambler concept
Honda used the CIMA motorcycle trade show in Chongqing, China, to reveal a new retro-inspired scrambler concept.

Honda has revealed an all-new CB250SS retro-themed scrambler motorcycle, although we might have to wait a while before it lands in the UK.
At the heart of the new model is a 249cc liquid-cooled engine, however, the Japanese brand has not yet revealed power and torque figures.
What we have noticed about the new scrambler concept is that it’s tailored towards riding on the road, thanks in large part to its road-biased footpegs, 17-inch alloy wheels front and back, as well as a short-travel suspension system.
With Honda keeping information, and images of the CB250SS to a minimum, the photos shared by the company don’t do the bike, nor its colours justice.

The bike features a dark brown seat resting on top a navy-coloured under-fairing section, while the fuel tank features a mix of white and red colours, both of which are found on the small fairing at the front, too.
The forks are finished in gold, offering a premium feel aboard the new scrambler concept, while a round TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity is believed to be part of the setup.
The new CB250SS scrambler, although a concept model at this stage, appears destined for production.
A production version is expected to be launched in China some time in 2027, before being offered in other markets. Honda has not confirmed where the CB250SS will be produced, but it is unlikely to arrive in the UK in its current guise.
That being said, bringing the new CB250SS to the UK could be a very smart move from Honda, given the popularity of the GB350S.
The latter has become one of the most adored modern classic motorcycles across the UK over the last two years, therefore, a CB250SS scrambler could potentially find similar success.
