Yamaha XSR900 gets stylish Neon White colourway
Yamaha looks to be giving Suzuki a run for its money with regards to the best-looking 2027 modern retro-styled motorcycle.

Nearly two weeks after Suzuki revealed the GSX-8TT in a new Candy Daring Red colourway, Yamaha has blessed its XSR900 with a stunning Neon White paint scheme.
The XSR900, which is positioned within Yamaha’s Sport Heritage range, also features the returning Midnight Black option.
The new paint scheme rivals Suzuki’s Candy Daring Red GSX-8TT in terms of appeal, style, and overall looks, at least in our minds, although the retro-styled naked is more reminiscent of the GSX-8T.

That’s because the XSR900 features a round headlight without the front fairing that’s housed by the GSX-8TT.
The GSX-8T and 8TT models are based on the same 776cc platform as the naked 8S and fully-faired 8R sportbike, meaning they are not direct rivals from a motor perspective.
The 2027 XSR900 is again powered by Yamaha’s 890cc liquid-cooled CP3 engine, which produces a claimed 87.5kW (around 117.3bhp) at 10,000rpm. That’s around 36bhp more than the GSX-8T, which produces a claimed 61kW (81.8bhp) at 8,500rpm.
The XSR900 also delivers more torque at 68.5 Ib-ft, compared with 58 Ib-ft from the 8T and 8TT models.
In terms of hardware, the XSR900 remains unchanged compared to the previous model. Other elements of the bike, such as the fuel tank capacity (14 litres), seat height (810mm), wet weight (193kg) - includes all liquids - are also the same.

The only difference from before is that the new Neon White colourway replaces the Legend Red variant. Yamaha says the new colour is inspired by the YZF750R from the mid-90s.
