Honda reveals motorcycle of choice for 2026 Adventure Roads event and new format
The Honda Adventure Roads programme will take on a new look in more ways than one in 2026.

Honda has revealed fresh details about its 2026 Adventure Roads programme, which sees the new E-Clutch-equipped XL750 Transalp confirmed as the motorcycle of choice.
The event’s format is also undergoing a tweak for 2026, with Honda shifting its attention to shorter, more skill-focused Trail and Off-Road tours across Europe.
Honda Adventure Roads has traditionally been more about longer, endurance-filled days in the saddle. However, the revised format, which is designed to welcome more “younger riders, female riders, and anyone seeking to level up their adventure abilities”, does so without the intensity of a long-haul expedition, according to the Japanese company.

Despite the changes, Honda says the key fundamentals of the programme remain the same, with training and rider development very much core principles of the event. It’s also worth knowing that a total of 30 riders will be allowed on each tour.
Two events have been confirmed by Honda, the first of which is set to take riders through the Pyrenees, with the journey starting in Barcelona (Spain) and ending in Toulouse (France). That event will take place on the 11–14 June.
The second tour will be based in the Alps, starting in Turin (Italy) and ending in Nice (France). This tour is scheduled for 10–13 September.

Pricing is the same for both tours and will cost customers €850, which converts to around £750. That price includes the full, comprehensive package, including accommodation, food and drinks. Riders will need to cover their personal flights and spending expenses.
Speaking about the 2026 event and the XL750 Transalp being the bike of choice, Nick Bennett, Honda Motor Europe Brand Marketing Section Manager, said:
“We’re excited to showcase the capabilities of the latest XL750 Transalp, with its innovative Honda E‑Clutch and DreamTech technologies. Its accessibility, rideability and specification make it the perfect partner for this year’s adventures and make it a highly appealing prospect to an even wider range of riders.
“We are also very pleased to welcome Dunlop back as the official tyre partner for another Honda Adventure Roads, following their successful debut in 2025. They join our established partners in Honda Official Accessories, Cardo, Alpinestars and Enduristan in helping us deliver unforgettable experiences for our Honda Adventure Roads riders. Each year we push ourselves to go further, and we’re confident that this year’s trip will offer riders an experience they’ll never forget.”
