MOTOGP RACER and former double World Superbike champion James Toseland is to receive an honorary degree from Sheffield Hallam University.
The university said Toseland, who came an impressive sixth place in this weekend's British Grand Prix at Donington Park, will receive the honour at a ceremony in November.
Toseland said: "I will probably be more nervous in front of 1,500 people at the graduation than I am when I'm on the circuit in front of almost 100,000."
Last week Visordown gave you the heads up that another former Yorkshire racer had copped for an honorary degree; Jamies Whitham is to receive a doctorate from Sheffield University later this year.
