ONE of the most iconic scooters of all time is going under the hammer in a high-priced auction.
Auction house Bonhams is selling the scooter rode by Jimmy Cooper in the cult movie Quadrophenia, complete with its move KRU 251F number plate.
The bike is a Lambretta Li 150 Series 3 scooter, originally dating from 1967. It is currently owned by dealer Allstyles from Portsmouth.
Bonham's estimate that the scooter will fetch between £20,000 and £25,000. The auction is being hosted at the Knightsbridge branch on 25th November 2008.
