Police re-issue appeal after biker death

POLICE in Limavady have re-issued their appeal for witnesses to come forward with information, following a fatal accident involving a motorcyclist last weekend.

Iain McDonald, 45, from Glasgow, died from his injuries after his BMW collided with a Ford Fiesta and one other car car on the Seacoast Road between Limavady and Magilligan around lunchtime on Saturday.

The passengers in the cars involved in the accident did not sustain any serious injuries.

So far, police believe the dead biker was part of a group who were seen in the area around the day of the accident. Police think the bikers had travelled to Northern Ireland from Scotland or England.

If you can help police in Limavady with their enquiries into the fatal collision on the Seacoast Road, the number to ring is 0845 600 8000.
