A new teaser video from Norton gives us a clue as to the next new model
Norton has released another teaser video of its next bike, with some of the commentary pointing to a new V4 motorcycle.

Norton is keeping up the intrigue around its next model, as the TVS-owned and UK-based brand releases its second social media teaser.
As is the way with this kind of content, very little is given away. In fact, we can’t actually tell what part of the bike the camera is zeroed in on. Fairing? Maybe. Infills around the frame? Possibly. But what is more interesting about this video is the commentary that accompanies the video.
Speaking in the background we can hear a person, whom we assume is an engineer at Norton, speaking about the packaging of the bike. They refer to it using phrases like, “it’s a work of art” and “it’s impressive”. These are all words we’d expect to hear from a company like Norton. More telling, though, is how the person describes the challenges of packaging such a machine.
They state that the “packaging [of the bike] is very tight”, going on to say “the size of the frame … and the amount of components and the size of the engine that fits in it”. Hardly words and statements you’d be making about some budget commuter bike you’re going to thrash around through the winter months.
This then relates to something wholly more aspirational, and much more exciting.
A couple of weeks ago, we received images from Norton that showed TVS Motors’ top man, Sudarshan Venu, testing it next V4 superbike. Given the way Norton is building the intrigue around its next-gen giant killer, we wouldn’t bet against this teaser also relating to the launch of that bike.

Before we get to find out, we have got a bit of a wait, as Norton isn’t pulling the wraps off the model until November 4, right in the heart of the EICMA show in Milan. We’ll be there on the exhibition floor to bring you all the news as we have it - and we guarantee you this isn’t going to be the last teaser we see.
