Ariel Ace dubbed 'The Last One' is back on the market

The Ariel Ace, dubbed 'The Last One', rolled off the production line in 2024 and is now looking for a new owner.

The final Ariel Ace ever produced is back on the market and looking for a new home, after it's previous owner had a 'change in circumstances'.

Ariel has never exactly followed the herd, and its Ace, which was launched 2014, is proof enough of that. Now, there’s a rather special one up for grabs, dripping in Gulf racing nostalgia and sporting a parts list of top-notch hardware.

Underneath sits the 1,237cc V4 engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, but it’s the visuals that steal the show. The custom Gulf-themed paint runs across the billet aluminium frame, hand-built girder forks, tank, seat under-tray, and even the wheels. Orange-stitched black vinyl cruiser seat? Check. Carbon fibre everywhere? Absolutely. The front and rear mudguards, belly pan, radiator covers, and instrument panel also all get the lightweight treatment.

Suspension is pure Swedish gold: Ohlins TTX kit up front and an Ohlins damper and spring at the rear. Low cruiser foot controls, flat bars, a painted swingarm to match the engine cases, and even a spare set of carbon radiator covers signed by the Ariel factory team sweeten the deal.

Fully MSVA tested, UK-registered, and coming with a “Last One” certificate, this Ace isn’t just a motorcycle — it’s a piece of British motorcycling history wrapped in Gulf blue and orange.

This example was sold to the current owner for an undisclosed amount in 2024, and it seems as though that since then, it's seen very little use. Ariel states the bike still only has 40-miles on its clock and is listing it at £34,950.

Like every Ariel Ace built to date, this bike was built solely by a single technician from start to finish. “It felt like a big moment to send off the last Ace motorcycle,” said Joe Green, the man who tightened every nut and bolt. He went on to say “We’ve loved creating these bespoke works of art and we look forward to each returning for scheduled servicing – it’s like seeing old friends again.”

The bike may be the last Ace built by Ariel, but two-wheeler production is set to continue, just with pedal power instead of horsepower. The firm is developing the titanium and carbon Ariel Dash E-bike, the full production run of which is taking place soon. The Dash will be produced alongside the firm's four-wheeled offerings, like the Atom and Nomad lightweight sports cars.
