Evel Knievel museum heading to Las Vegas with VR jumps and legendary bikes
A new immersive Evel Knievel Experience opens in Las Vegas this June, bringing together the stunt legend’s most famous motorcycles, jumpsuits, crash memorabilia and VR jump simulations.

A new interactive museum dedicated to stunt-riding icon Evel Knievel is set to open in Las Vegas this June, bringing some of the daredevil’s most famous bikes, jumpsuits and crash memorabilia under one roof for the first time in the city he long called home.

Dubbed the “Evel Knievel Experience”, the attraction will take over a site in the Las Vegas Arts District, and expands on the original museum that first opened in Topeka back in 2017. But while the original relied predominantly on static displays, the new Vegas setup goes much further into immersive entertainment territory, complete with 4D virtual-reality jumps, interactive stunt-planning exhibits, and hands-on displays recreating some of Knievel’s most infamous crashes.

Among the headline exhibits are Knievel’s original red, white and blue leathers, several of the motorcycles used during his career, and the famous Snake River Canyon Skycycle X-2 rocket bike. Also on display will be the crash helmet he wore during his disastrous 1967 Caesars Palace jump — the accident that left him in a coma for nearly a month and helped cement his reputation as America’s ultimate showman on two wheels.

The fully restored “Big Red” Mack truck and trailer used to transport Knievel’s touring show will also form part of the experience. Before settling permanently in Vegas, the truck will complete a cross-country run from Kansas City to Las Vegas, arriving on the Strip later this month.
Alongside the exhibits, visitors will also find a themed café, merchandise store, guided tour options and a range of rare archive footage charting Knievel’s rise from motorcycle stunt rider to global pop-culture icon. The new museum opens on June 27, and tickets are on sale now via the official website.
