Electric brand Stark Future secures even more funding
Electric motorcycle brand Stark Future has received a fresh round of funding and is brimming with optimism.

Swedish-Spanish electric motorcycle maker Stark Future is going from strength to strength.
Not long after posting record profits and announcing its participation in a number of offroad competitions, the company has announced that it has secured another round of funding.
In a crowing media release, Stark describes itself as “the fastest-growing Spanish company ever in history” and explains that this funding round was an “invite-only” affair, open primarily to “the company’s existing shareholders, along with a select group of new high-profile investors from the world of MotoGP.”
The media release quotes CEO and founder Anton Wass as saying: “We decided to close this internal investment round at a very attractive valuation in order to do it quickly while offering very competitive terms to the people that have already supported the business in previous rounds. We managed to close it within a couple of weeks, which is a strong testament to the results our team has created. We also used this as an opportunity to invite a few selected external investors that we’d like to have in our team.”

Makers of the Stark Varg motocross bike and Stark Varg EX enduro bike, Stark burst onto the scene in 2019 after being founded by Wass and Paul Soucy (CTO). The firm made headlines almost instantly, thanks to the bike's wild performance claims and slick-shot social media videos.
In May of this year, it declared record profits, stating that it is “one of the very few EV companies that has achieved sustained profitability.” And just last month, it announced that it would be taking part in the FIM World Supercross Championship in 2025 and in a new electric-only class in the Motocross World Championship’s 2026 season.
Stark says that with this latest round of funding “the firm will accelerate its continued growth past the 70 countries it already distributes to, with some very exciting new products planned.”

To that end, Wass has declared that the company intends to develop a street bike that can legitimately compete against those with internal combustion engines.
“We are on a mission to prove that electric motorcycles can outperform ICE in every way,” Wass continued. “Each new model from Stark will be the leader within its category.”
We respect Stark’s swagger (appropriately on par with the sort of bragging we’d expect from Marvel character Tony Stark), but can’t help but be sceptical anytime an electric manufacturer announces that it has secured additional funding.
Additional funding also means additional debt, and the electric motorcycle world is littered with the carcasses of manufacturers whose ambitions exceeded their ability to profit. But, hey, maybe Stark’s the exception to the rule. Eventually somebody has to win, right?
