Damon’s Hypersport Race bike takes next step in its development
Damon Motorcycles has revealed a completed clay version of its Hypersport Race model, which is now set for further development.

Damon Motorcycles has revealed fresh details about its Hypersport Race (HSR) model, which does not exist yet, however, it has completed a full-scale clay modelling process.
The company says the revealing of its clay model “is a critical phase in the vehicle's development, moving the Hypersport Race from a digital concept to a physical form”.
The process took place throughout September after initially being started in August. Damon also says it will now begin developing a prototype for track testing and “technology validation”.
Speaking about the completion of the bike’s clay modelling, Dominique Kwong, CEO of Damon, said:
"Completing the clay model allows us to visually and physically verify our meticulous design choices. We are now prepared for advanced prototype development, bringing us closer to real-world performance evaluation."
Damon’s journey to building motorcycles has been a long and detailed one, which we’re still waiting to see fulfilled. Prior to the Hypersport Race programme being revealed, the company’s fully-faired Hypersport model and naked-style Hyperfighter sibling were unveiled as its first models.
But as it stands, Damon, which has faced many challenges since initially appearing in 2019, has still never got these bikes out on the road in the hands of customers.
When the HSR model could begin testing, and beyond that be available for customers to buy, is very much an unknown at the time of this writing.
