Custom build competition to feature at World Ducati Week 2026
July’s World Ducati Week will feature a custom build competition open to models from 2006 onwards.

Ducati has revealed fresh details about its 2026 Garage Contest competition, where 10 finalists will have their custom builds showcased at World Ducati Week 2026.
The competition is open to all models from 2006 onwards, although entrants were required to submit their entry by 9 May.
The next stage of the process will see a technical jury consisting of Ducati executives, designers and engineers select ten finalists. According to Ducati, the selection process will focus on the “most daring, original and distinctive entries”.
Additionally, a public jury made up of WDW enthusiasts wishing to vote, will have the chance to select the three best special models. A technical jury and a jury of Ducati riders will each choose their own winner, as well.
Finally, the five custom build creators that are selected from the original ten finalists will be awarded their prizes on Sunday, 5 July.

The event will be part of Ducati’s centenary celebrations, which are already in full swing. Ducati recently revealed a limited-edition Superleggera V4 Centenario Tricolore, which takes after the Superleggera V4 Centenario that was unveiled at the end of March.
The celebrations at Borgo Panigale have also led to the arrival of a brand-new Formula 73 model, which was also built to mark the company’s 100-year existence, while channeling the spirit of the 1973 750 Super Sport Desmo.
Ducati will likely have more centenary-inspired models up its sleeve as the year goes on, some of which could make their debut at World Ducati Week, which takes place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from 3 to the 5 May.
World Ducati Week is the Italian company’s annual showstopping event, which also stages a short race between MotoGP and WorldSBK stars aboard Panigale machines.
More information about the 2026 Garage Contest can be found on the official Ducati website.
