Conor Cummins will tackle TT 2026 with a new Superbike and Senior ride at Bathams AJN Racing, as part of a broader multi-team effort.

Conor Cummins will line up for Bathams AJN Racing in the Superbike and Senior races at the 2026 Isle of Man TT, linking up with Michael Rutter’s team for the blue-riband classes.

The Ramsey rider is set for a busy fortnight on the Mountain Course as he approaches 20 years since his TT debut. The deal puts him on a BMW M1000RR for the RST Superbike TT and the Milwaukee Senior TT, with the Bathams AJN outfit continuing under the guidance of the seven-time winner Michael Rutter.

It’s not the only change to Cummins’ plans. He’ll again run his own BMW for the RL360 Superstock races under the Conrod Motorsport banner, while in Supersport he switches to a Suzuki GSX-R750 with North Lincs Components. That bike has already shown its hand at the TT, with James Hind taking fifth and sixth in the last two years.

Although the overall package looks different to previous seasons, Cummins isn’t coming in cold on the BMW. At last year’s TT, he rode an M1000RR in the Superstock class, finishing fifth and sixth and setting a best lap of 131.528mph.

Now 39, Cummins remains one of the quickest riders ever to lap the course and is aiming to get back on the podium for the first time since 2022. That year, he took third in both the Superstock and Senior races and recorded his fastest ever lap of 133.116mph, placing him sixth on the all-time list.

Since making his debut in 2006, where he finished 17th in the Senior to win the Newcomer’s Trophy, Cummins has built a consistent TT record, taking 12 podiums in total. Five of those came in the Senior race, including two runner-up finishes. Further podiums have come across Superbike, Superstock, Supersport and Lightweight classes, underlining his speed across a range of machinery.

The Bathams AJN move also marks a shift for Rutter, who won’t be racing as he continues his recovery from injury. The team boss has been a fixture at the TT since the mid-1990s and brings decades of course knowledge to the garage.

Speaking about the Bathams move, Cummins said:

“Getting to ride the Bathams AJN BMW in the Superbike and Senior TT races will be a great addition to my 2026 TT plans. The team has got a lot of experience at the TT and with the BMW, so when the opportunity came up, it was an easy decision. The bike is the one which Storm Stacey used in BSB last year, so it’ll be really interesting to see what it’s like. In the meantime, it’s full steam ahead getting everything sorted at my end ready for what’s going to be a busy TT for me. I can’t wait!”

With multiple programmes across Superbike, Superstock and Supersport, Cummins heads into TT 2026 with one of his busiest schedules in recent years. We’ll have to wait until 25 May to see if it has paid off.
