Josh Brookes is set to take on the 2026 North West 200 with the all-new Uggly&Co racing team, where he will ride a Suzuki GSX-R750 in both supersport races.

The project is being led by none other than Carl Cox, who has overseen various racing projects over the years, which includes making several appearances at the Isle of Man TT.

The DJ star has worked with the likes of Michael Dunlop, who is the TT’s most successful rider with 33 victories to his name.

Brookes on the other hand is a two-time BSB champion, once with Yamaha and once with Ducati. The Australian recently confirmed his Isle of Man TT plans for 2026, but up first will be the North West 200 with the new Uggly&Co project. The NW200 takes place 6-9 May.

Carl Cox said this about the new partnership:

“It’s really exciting to be supporting this new team with the guys at Uggly&Co, it’s the perfect racing collab! The North West is a really special event, we’re glued to it wherever in the world we are at the time, so it’s cool to be racing there, and with Josh Brookes piloting the proven Suzuki GSX-R750, we have every chance of some success!”

As well as his commitments with the independent Carl Cox and Uggly&Co project, Brookes will race a DAO Racing Honda in the superbike class.

Speaking about the new challenge with Cox and Uggly&Co, Brookes added:

“Carl Cox is an absolute legend in terms of the support he gives to riders, and Uggly&Co are such a cool brand within the race paddock, what a pairing to have in your corner! I love the idea of this independent team. I’ve had a lot of success with that type of outfit previously, and I believe the Suzuki GSX-R750 has great attributes for the NW200. I can’t wait to get out there for first practice and wind on the power!”
