The figures come from CFMoto's own 2026 half-year report, published in August, and show particularly strong growth outside its home market.
Around 98,000 motorcycles were sold overseas, with international motorcycle volumes up 37.45 per cent year on year. Overseas motorcycle revenue was also up 40.41 per cent.
That means roughly half of CFMoto's petrol motorcycle sales during the first six months of the year came from outside China, highlighting just how important its international expansion has become.

CFMoto says the growth has been helped by an expanding range of middleweight and larger motorcycles, with models including the 450MT, 675SR, 800MT and 1000MT-X singled out in the report.
North America has been a particular focus for the company, with CFMoto increasing its presence in the middleweight and larger-capacity segments. In Europe, meanwhile, the company says it has been developing its dealer network and expanding its middleweight and large-capacity range to better match local demand.
The figures come as CFMoto continues to broaden its motorcycle line-up, with several new models introduced during the first half of 2026. These included the 125AURA, 150SC-F, 500SR, 550CL-C, 800MT-ES and 1000MT-X, giving the company products spanning commuter scooters, performance nakeds and sports bikes, as well as cruisers and adventure machines.
Its domestic Chinese motorcycle business also grew, although at a slower rate than its international operation. CFMoto sold 98,400 motorcycles in China during the first half of the year, while reporting domestic motorcycle revenue of RMB 1.685 billion (around £188 million). The company says its share of China's 200cc-plus manual motorcycle market reached 24.34 per cent, based on compulsory insurance data.
CFMoto's wider business also recorded substantial growth during the period. Total company revenue reached RMB 13.39 billion (equivalent to around £1.45 billion), up 35.82 per cent year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 6.26 per cent to RMB 1.06 billion (around £179 million).

The company now says it has more than 9,000 retail outlets worldwide, with its products sold in more than 100 countries and regions across North America, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
