The Aprilia RSV4 X-GP is the brand's most extreme bike
Aprilia marks ten years of MotoGP with the RSV4 X-GP, a 238hp, wing-covered, carbon-loaded track missile limited to just 30 bikes worldwide.

Aprilia has rolled the covers off its latest weapons-grade track special, the RSV4 X-GP.
Unveiled this weekend at the Catalunya Grand Prix, the bike is built to celebrate 10 years since the RS-GP first turned a wheel in MotoGP. To celebrate that milestone, Aprilia has rustled up its most extreme RSV4 yet, dripping with prototype-level tech and limited to just 30 units worldwide.
And if you’re wondering how serious this bike is, let’s start with the numbers: 238bhp, 165kg, and a price tag of €90,000 (around £78,000) + VAT.
Fifth generation of the "X"

The RSV4 X-GP is the fifth machine in Aprilia’s ultra-exclusive “X” line, following the RSV4 X (2019), Tuono X (2020), RSV4 X Trenta (2022) and RSV4 X ex3ma (2024). Each one pushes a little closer to MotoGP technology, with this latest creation being the closest yet.
From the outside, it’s all about aerodynamics. Aprilia has taken its leg wing and tail wing technology straight from the current RS-GP25, making this the first factory-derived bike in the world to feature them. They work alongside the front wing, under wing and cornering winglets to create serious downforce under braking, in corners, and even mid-straight to help keep the front end glued to the ground.
The rear subframe is another MotoGP hand-me-down, with a structural carbon seat support from PAN Compositi. It is designed as both a weight-saving trick and a genuine aerodynamic aid. Add in the double-pipe SC-Project MotoGP exhaust, a full carbon fairing, and a special RS-GP25 race livery, and you’re looking at something that’s visually (and almost technically) closer to Jorge Martin’s bike than anything else you can go out and buy.
Engine and electronics

Aprilia Racing’s engineers have fettled the 1,099cc 65 degree V4 to full SBK-spec. Power is up to a ridiculous 238hp at 13,750rpm, and torque peaks at 96lb ft. To get there, the X-GP uses a Sprint racing filter, reworked intake trumpets, higher compression ratio, a dry STM clutch, and that MotoGP-style SC-Project system.
Electronics are handled by the APX Racing ECU, which is not the road unit, but the same brainbox that’s been used in WSBK-winning RSV4s. Fully adjustable traction control, engine braking, power delivery, anti-wheelie and data-logging are all in there, plus GPS. Riders even get a Yashi laptop loaded with the management software, meaning you too can look full factory at the trackday with your laptop balanced on the fuel tank.
Chassis, brakes, and tyres

The RSV4’s aluminium frame has been paired with mechanically-adjusted Öhlins suspension. The front fork is a pressurised FKR unit, while the rear is a TTX piggyback shock.
Brakes are Brembo’s finest, with GP4-MS billet calipers biting down on 330mm T-Drive discs. Wheels are forged magnesium Marchesinis, wrapped in the same Pirelli slicks you’ll find in WorldSBK (125/70 SC1 front, 200/65 SCX rear).
Other details include a full carbon mudguard, Jetprime racing switchgear, Spider rearsets and billet goodies, a lighter PBR titanium sprocket set, and an RK 520 chain. Basically, nothing is standard.
For the chosen few

Each of the 30 bikes will be numbered and come with extras that would make any garage look like a GP pit box: tyre warmers, paddock stands, a mat, a cover, and even an NFT certificate of authenticity. Buyers will also get a VIP trip to Aprilia’s Noale factory to collect their bike, the closest most of us will ever get to living like Marco Bezzecchi.
Speaking about the bike, Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing’s CEO, said:
“This is certainly a unique, beautiful, and extremely intriguing product capable of providing special sensations – those that only racing riders know how to take full advantage of, but which even an amateur enthusiast can clearly perceive.”
