Ruroc AT4.0 Hellside is a limited-edition helmet with a fiery twist
Ruroc has unveiled the limited-edition AT4.0 Hellside, with just 250 helmets being produced in a molten satin red finish.

Ruroc has added a suitably sinister new version of its AT4.0 helmet to the range, with the limited-edition Hellside arriving in time for Halloween.
Based on the existing AT4.0 platform, the Hellside gets a molten satin red finish over what Ruroc describes as a dark-matter core, giving it a considerably more striking appearance than the standard versions of the helmet.
Only 250 Hellside helmets are being produced worldwide, with each one individually numbered. The limited-edition status is marked by a dedicated sticker and a numbered label stitched into the helmet's liner.
Underneath the Halloween-friendly paintwork, it is the same basic AT4.0 package. The helmet is produced in four sizes, S/M, M/L, L/XL and XL/XXL, with alternative cheek pads supplied to help riders dial in the fit.

Protection comes from a combination of DOT and ECE 22.06 certification, alongside Ruroc's RHEON technology, which is designed to help manage both linear and rotational forces during an impact. The helmet also carries a four-star SHARP safety rating.
Ruroc has designed the AT4.0 Hellside to work with its Shockwave integrated Bluetooth audio system, so riders can add the company's built-in communication setup without resorting to an external unit.
The Hellside is priced at £425 in the UK, putting it at the more expensive end of the AT4.0 range, although its limited production run is likely to be the bigger draw for buyers. With just 250 available, this particular Ruroc could disappear quicker than a decent Halloween costume after the first knock at the door.
The AT4.0 Hellside is available via the Ruroc website.
