Allen Millyard's one-off Viper V10 motorcycle has officially changed hands at auction, with the hammer falling at £130,000.
One of the most famous custom motorcycles ever built has officially found a new owner, with Allen Millyard's extraordinary Viper V10 selling at auction for £130,000!
The hand-built machine crossed the block at Bonhams' Summer Stafford Sale today, ending years of speculation over what one of Millyard's best-known creations might fetch if it ever came up for sale. While no stranger to appearing at shows and in videos, the Viper V10 has never been offered to the public, making today's sale a significant moment for collectors and motorcycle enthusiasts alike.
The final price reflects the bike's unique place in motorcycling history. Powered by an 8.0-litre Dodge Viper V10 engine producing around 500bhp, the one-off special became one of Allen Millyard's defining builds, showcasing the engineering ingenuity that has made him one of the world's most celebrated motorcycle constructors.
The bike is also a Guinness World Record holder, after Millyard, together with ‘The Motorbike Show’ presenter Henry Cole, successfully attempted the Fastest Tandem Motorcycle World Record.
The duo beat the previous record by nearly five mph in May 2023 at Elvington Airfield, in North Yorkshire, completing an officially timed run of 183.5mph.
Speaking on social media about his decision to put the bike up for auction, Millyard said:
“I’ve decided to offer my 8000cc Millyard Viper V10 up for sale at the next H&H auction at the National Motorcycle Museum UK on the 22nd July 2026. This has been a very difficult decision for me to make, but it will make way for more exciting projects in the future”.
