Ducati Dragons, which is an all-women’s motorcycle group that started in 2021, has officially become a recognised Ducati Club.

The group consists of over 450 women, and is supported by the Ducati Stoke dealership. The club is also affiliated to the British Motorcycle Federation.

Created in January 2021, the club has been running ever since and includes a number of benefits for new members. Women that join the club, which costs £20 per year, will gain access to community groups, different events, and club merchandise. Joining the club can be done on the group’s new Ducati Dragons website.

The club will be part of this year’s World Ducati Week in July, which takes on a greater meaning in 2026 as the Italian manufacturer is celebrating its 100-year anniversary. The club also has “something special” planned for the British WorldSBK round at Donington Park, which takes place from 10-12 July.

The club is also very active in supporting the Air Ambulance charity, and has so far raised £4,785. The club holds an annual raffle as part of its support for the charity, where prizes are drawn at the club’s annual weekend meeting.

Gillian Riddel, DOC Dragons President, said this about Ducati Dragons becoming an official Ducati Club:

“It's great for the Ducati Dragons to get the rubber stamp and become a Ducati Official Club. Sara Falzolgher at Ducati has been a leading light, encouraging us to become an official club, which was wonderful.

“Being Ducati’s centenary year, our events this year have even more meaning. And to be taking part in them now as an official club is fantastic for the Dragons. Our annual assembly is planned for June.

“We then join the celebrations at World Ducati Week in early July, with something special planned later that month for the British WorldSBK round at Donington Park. It’s going to be a really exciting summer, made even more so with our new DOC Dragons official status.”
