Toprak Razgatlioglu takes a Yamaha Niken to the limit
World Superbike star Toprak Razgatlioglu has posted a video on social media showing him shredding the back tyre of a Yamaha Niken
YAMAHA World Superbike rider, Toprak Razgatlioglu has been easing himself back into the post-COVID-19 normal by performing some extraordinary stunts on a Yamaha Niken.
Yamaha Tracer 700 (2020) video review
The Niken seems to make a surprisingly decent stunt bike, with the dual front wheels providing a high level of grip at the front that makes sliding the rear wheel look fairly easy. Indeed, it’s not the first time a Niken has been spotted behaving badly, last month French stunt rider Sarah Lezito revealed her turbo-charged Yamaha Niken stunt bike, wasting no time in putting it through its paces.

While the riding in the slip above isn’t to be recommended on the public road, it looks as though Razgatlioglu has found a quiet, private road to have a play – and he is a World Superbike rider, so who’s going to stop him?!
Razgatlioglu is no stranger to eye-opening stunts on bikes, the video of him performing stoppies on his WSBK machine in the pits at a pre-season test earlier this year. The clip gained the Turkish rider instant notoriety as a bit of a trickster, even if the stunt did seem to scare his pit crew and teammate somewhat in the process!
For 2020 Razgatlioglu made the switch from Kawasaki to Yamaha and now rides for the Pata Yamaha World Superbike squad. He got 2020 off to a good start, picking up a race win at round one in Philip Island before the 2020 season was curtailed due to COVID-19.
