It seems he's not the only rider to fall victim to nature. On track at Snetterton this weekend, a racer ended his day in qualifying after hitting a hare and highsiding.
Unfortunately the animal died, and the motorcycle didn't emerge well from the accident.
Posting the incredible photo sequence on Facebook, A-klas Photography wrote: "Unlucky morning for #rider and #rabbit :( Casualties: - #dead rabbit - broken #motorbike - finished #race at #qualification"
