RST launch Isle of Man TT team led by Ian Hutchinson
RST will field its own official team at the 2026 Isle of Man TT, which will be led by Ian Hutchinson.

RST is once again set to be present at the upcoming Isle of Man TT, however, it will do so with its own official team.
The new TeamRST marks a major milestone for the brand, as it has never operated its own team at the TT, which will be led by 16-time winner Ian Hutchinson.
The rider from Bingley, West Yorkshire, will compete in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior TT races for his new team.
RST also acts as the Official Safety Partner of the Isle of Man TT Races, while the company has long been embedded within the paddock, supplying protective equipment to several competitors.

The new TeamRST project will be supported by a group of performance partners including Arai, D3O, and Motul, who will contribute to the development of the machines, rider equipment and performance infrastructure.
Speaking about his new challenge, Hutchinson said:
“This project is very personal to me. After everything I’ve experienced at the TT, I still have that drive to prove we can compete at the very front. Everyone involved has come on this journey with me, and I want it to work for all of us. We’re aiming for that top spot and I want everyone to get something out of this.”
RST will also produce a TeamRST documentary series that follows Hutchinson and the team’s preparation for the 2026 event. It will show behind-the-scenes footage of how the team’s bikes were built, technical development, testing and the logistical demands of preparing for the TT’s Mountain Course.
Stuart Millington, VP of RST, added:
“Launching TeamRST is a defining moment for our brand. We’re doing this with one goal, giving Ian the package he needs to win at this years Isle of Man TT. We have been working with Ian for over 15 years. Ian is one of the most accomplished and determined competitors in TT history, and his experience makes him the perfect rider to lead this project.”
