WSB 2011: Phillip Island Race 2 Results

Carlos Checa continued the start of the 2011 campaign in perfect style doubling up in dominant form.

In a copy from the first race, Checa was unstoppable with the second placed Biaggi the nearest and still a few seconds back from the Spaniard.

The 2010 champion battled it out with former MotoGP rival, Marco Melandri to take the runner-up spot on the podium. Jonathan Rea, after his 120mph crash before the weekend braved the pain to finish in fourth place. Leon Haslam rounded out the top five on the BMW.
