TECH 3 MOTOGP Team Manager Herve Poncharal has announced this his Moto2 squad for 2010 will be a two-rider squad with one of the new bikes being taken already by 250cc GP rider Jules Cluzel.
Poncharal said: “We will have two riders in Moto2. We are very excited about the Moto2 project as this is something that we have been pushing in order to see from 2010 and I’m quite sure that this class is going to be fantastic.
“We are building our own chassis and although the sponsors are not clear at the moment we have taken the decision to proceed with the project. It is not completely finalised but I would say it is 95% done.”
Recent rumour has linked Toseland to the Moto2 squad as a way of staying in the MotoGP paddock for next season rather than dropping back to the WSB series, after what has been a couple of frustrating years in MotoGP for the double World Champion.
Could this be a saving grace for our British hero?
