ALPINESTARS has revealed a limited edition Doohan Supertech Race Replica boot at this weekend’s San Marino MotoGP.
The colourful boot is dedicated to the five-time 500cc World Champion Doohan, and will be available in limited numbers in men's euro sizes 39 – 47, with an RRP of $499.95 USD (£387).
Over his illustrious career during the 1990s Doohan achieved 54 wins, 95 podiums, 58 pole positions and 46 fastest laps from his 137 starts, marking him out as one of racing’s all-time greats. He took the title at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli back in 1991, before enjoying a further five victories on Italian soil during his career.
So it’s only right that Alpinestars’ dedicate their most iconic road riding boot, favoured by world champion past and present, to the Australian.
The CE-certified Supertech R features a number of performance innovations, including a redesigned compound rubber sole, an ergonomically profiled shin plate and a redesigned front flex area.
