Spanish startup company Zyon is a new helmet maker that is hoping to take safety to new beginnings, thanks to a Breath Safe System that is said to filter out air pollution.

The safety system is also intended to reduce the risk of riders suffering from allergies through its advanced filtering technology.
Zyon says its helmet is capable of fighting off fine particles, dust, toxic gases, and allergens. Each of its filters, which are four-layered, delivers between one to three months of high-performance filtration, according to the brand.
In addition to its new technology, which is all about keeping riders healthy, the brand’s new helmet has a built-in MIPS shock absorption system. The Mips safety system incorporates a low-friction layer inside the helmet, which allows slight movement upon impact. The intended results are to reduce brain injuries and it says the system should offer more safety in ‘many accidents’.

Blending safety and style together, the helmet features an active rear light system just beneath the rear spoiler, and connectivity that monitors the state of the helmet. It cleverly monitors the filters and the wearer's activity through the Zyon app.
The helmet comes with the ability to switch between three ventilation modes, which include Low, Medium and High. So, no matter the type of riding or where you are riding, the large vent at the front is designed to work in all conditions.
Founded in 2022, in Spain, the company is targeting a global market with the release of its new, technology-driven helmet.
The helmet is available to reserve on the official Zyon website and will be officially launched at the end of 2025.
