KTM production Moto3 bike for sale
KTM offering Moto3 race winner as a production racer in 2013
KTM'S sexy little Moto3 bike will be available as a production racer next year priced around £35,000.
The Austrian manufacturer presented the customer bike for 2013 at the Sachsenring GP. So far in the inaugural Moto3 season, the KTM has proved to be competitive with Sandro Cortese leading the championship with seven podium finishes, including two race wins.
The outgoing 125s were replaced by 250cc four-strokes this year and the KTM is one of the most desirable in the new class.
When it is released the production racer will differ slightly from the factory machine raced this year; with 13,500rpm instead of the rule-defined 14,000rpm, aluminium rather than magnesium OZ wheels and even though it comes with Brembo brakes and WP suspension these are not of a factory spec. KTM added that these are all parts that can be upgraded to bring it inline with the factory bikes.
KTM are open for orders as of this month and a close date is set for October, delivery will follow in February 2013 ready for the race season.
