KTM has just pulled the covers off a new model for 2021 in the form of the race-only KTM 250 SX-F Troy Lee Designs special edition.
The bike is an homage to motorcycle clothing designer Troy Lee and the highly successful factory racing team that carries the same name. the bike is more than just a fancy sticker kit slapped onto a stick model though, as KTM has thrown the kitchen sink at the bike, and its dripping with top-spec kit.

The new bike has been developed with the help of KTM’s factory motocross riders and comes with a host of race-derived upgrades already fitted. One of the highlights of this machine is the standard Connectivity Unit, which combined with the free-to-download myKTM App together they offer easy engine and suspension set-up via a smartphone.
The new 250 SX-F is fitted with race-ready WP XACT suspension, an ultra-lightweight chromoly steel frame, powerful Brembo brakes, and a handlebar-mounted map switch that selects between two engine maps and activates traction and launch control to manage the highly-tuned DOHC engine. high-end Factory wheels. They feature black D.I.D DirtStar rims and fully CNC-machined orange anodized hubs. Together with black spokes and orange anodized aluminum nipples.
The Troy Lee Designs bike also comes with an Akrapovič Slip-On silencer as standard, further improving low-end grunt and reducing weight thanks to its titanium construction. The machine also features a Factory holeshot device and a composite skid plate to protect the engine. In addition, the bike has a semi-floating front disc ensuring maximum braking performance, a front brake disc guard, and a lightweight black aluminum rear sprocket. A billet Hinson clutch cover has been added for increased durability and to enhance the factory look.
