Merlin launches Autumn/Winter 2026 motorcycle clothing collection

Merlin’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection delivers premium British design, real-world protection, and rider-friendly prices in a tight, focused range.

British kit maker Merlin has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 line-up, a compact range of jackets, trousers, and layers designed to balance premium protection with everyday usability.

Unlike brands that churn out seasonal filler, Merlin says the focus here is on getting the details right. Think laminated waterproofing, new CE Level 2 glove tech, and even heated kit in the pipeline. The range is designed with dealers and riders in mind: a tight set of products that should hit the sweet spot between safety, comfort, and value.

James Franklin, Merlin’s Brand & Product Director, said:

“Our goal has always been to create motorcycle gear that riders are proud to wear - gear that combines style, protection, and functionality without compromise. With AW26 we’re pushing standards forward while keeping things accessible, in a number of SKUs [Stock Keeping Units] easily manageable for our network.”

So, what’s new? Here are the highlights:

Taos Waterproof D3O Jacket

Adventure touring doesn’t have to break the bank. At £229.99, the Taos packs a CE Level AA rating, a five-piece set of D3O armour, and a proper 10k/15k Humax waterproof membrane into a lightweight, PFAS-free stretch polyester shell. It even has a removable thermal liner, venting for summer, and adjusters to fine-tune fit. Available in Black or Ice.

Badou Kevlar Dual Sport Trouser

Built for trails and tarmac, the Badou trousers use a unique Kevlar weave for abrasion resistance while staying lightweight and flexible. Pre-fitted with D3O Ghost armour at the knees and hips, they carry the same CE Level AA rating as the matching Badou jacket. Wide ankle openings let them fit over chunky off-road boots. Yours for £199.99.

HydroShield Waterproof Over Jacket & Trousers

Tested at the Sweet Lamb Adventure Academy, these lightweight waterproofs are made to throw on when the skies open. Welded seams and an 18k waterproof rating make them more than just pack-away kit. The jacket goes for £99.99, trousers for £79.99—both in Black.

Hamlin Hydro Hoody

Following the success of the Axe riding shirt, the Hamlin Hydro Hoody is Merlin’s take on casual kit that doesn’t skimp on safety. Under the streetwear style sits a Kevlar fibre twill lining, Armanox Level 2 protectors, and CE Level AA certification. It’s waterproof too, with a Texland Humax membrane, weather-sealed zips, and stretch comfort. Priced at £179.99, in Black or Charcoal.

Bobber CE Riding Vest

For those who like their kit with a bit of character, the Bobber vest blends Halley Stevensons Scottish waxed cotton with plant-based water repellency and a CE-certified protective rating. The kicker? It comes with a D3O recycled Ghost Viper back protector pre-fitted. The wax finish is designed to age and patina, meaning it should look better the more you wear it. Available in Black or Desert, priced at £179.99.

The Merlin AW26 collection is available now through authorised dealers, with more pieces set to drop as the season rolls on.
