Indian Motorcycle is marking its 125th anniversary with a three-day rally over the August Bank Holiday, and it’s open to anyone on two wheels.
The 2026 Indian Motorcycle Riders (IMR) UK National Rally runs from August 28 to 30 at Brooklands Museum, with the brand teaming up with its Reading dealership to host the event. While Indian owners get a few added perks, the organisers are clear that this isn’t a closed shop, and all riders are welcome.
Things get underway on Friday August 28, with a fairly relaxed start. Expect American-style BBQ, access to racing simulators, and extended opening hours for the Brooklands Motor Museum sheds. There’s also the option of guided Concorde tours, plus dedicated parking for Indian Motorcycle Riding Groups. Live music comes via a saxophonist from late afternoon, setting the tone for the weekend.
Saturday is where most of the action sits. Riders arriving early will be met with bacon rolls and coffee before the day moves into a mix of talks, displays and entertainment. Indian’s head of design, Ola Stenegärd, is down to appear alongside other guests, while trade stands, live bands and a few more hands-on attractions, including a wheelie machine, fill out the schedule.
Custom bikes are a big part of the day, with competitions and displays running alongside a showing of the brand’s King of the Baggers race bike. There’s also the chance to ride the Brooklands track itself, which isn’t something you get to do every day, and guests can pose for photos under Concorde, which again, is pretty bloomin cool!
Sunday rolls into Brooklands’ America Day, which broadens things beyond bikes. Expect a mix of US cars, from Mustangs and hot rods and everything in between, along with themed entertainment and more food and trade stalls. Rally ticket holders can stick around and take it all in as the weekend winds down.
