Honda Grom receives three new colours including HRC-inspired tricolour
Honda has welcomed three new colour options to its popular MSX125 Grom, including an HRC-inspired tricolour livery.

Honda has kept changes to its MSX125 Grom to a minimum for 2026, revealing three new colours instead of any technical or mechanical updates.
The new colour palette includes Pearl Shining Black and Splendid Blue options, as well as a HRC-inspired livery named Gayety red, for those that fancy using their grom as a paddock bike.
The colour update is a minor one compared to the changes it received in 2025, which included a redesigned bodywork. However, it is a pretty significant update nonetheless, as Honda says the refreshed Grom “is the final step of the 26YM update journey that began back in May 2025 with the overhauled CB125F”.

The bodywork can easily be detached, according to Honda, allowing owners freedom when it comes to customising their Grom with stickers, graphics or wraps.
Since the Grom’s official launch in 2012, a total of 863,289 units have been sold globally with almost 618,000 sold in Thailand. Another popular market for the Grom is the US, which accounts for another 93,000 units. More than 50,000 have been sold in Europe.

At the heart of the Grom is a 125cc two-valve air-cooled engine, which produces a maximum power output of 9.6bhp at 7,250rpm and 7.7 Ib-ft of torque at 5,500rpm. It also makes use of a five-speed gearbox and has a claimed top speed of 94km/h (around 58mph).
The bike’s suspension comprises a 31mm USD fork up front, while a single monoshock is found at the rear. The updated Grom also features the same 6-litre fuel capacity, 1200mm wheelbase, and kerb weight of 103kg, as before.
Information is fed through an LCD display, which includes a rev-counter and gear position indicator, while lighting is handled by LEDs in the head and taillights.

Pricing is also unchanged compared to the 2025 model, meaning it will cost customers in the UK £3,999.
