HJC brings bold design to RPHA 12 helmet
HJC’s new Kepina RPHA 12 helmet design captures the brand’s essence in full.
If you’re familiar with HJC helmets, you will most likely know that it loves a funky design from time to time. That brings me to this all-new Kepina design which is no different.
The new helmet is the latest instalment in what’s been a very busy 2025 for the South Korean company when it comes to flashy helmet designs.

A Stich-inspired lid was released soon after, while HJC recently brought out the new Ant-Man F100 helmet. Now, HJC has taken its premium RPHA 12 helmet and spruced it up with this Kepina design, which it says is a “statement piece that expresses the rider’s personality and spirit of adventure”.
Much of the Kepina’s ‘boldness’ comes from the sharp teeth that run down the sides of the helmet and onto the chin area. But the helmet is even more busy at the crown, where its vivid yellow eyes are positioned just in front of the HJC logo and its other interesting design features.
The helmet comes with a price of €549,90 (around £485) and has been reinforced with materials such as carbon-aramid hybrid and natural fibre. It has also gained enhanced shock-resistant performance, according to HJC, and more comfort.
The interior now includes advanced anti-bacteria fabric and provides enhanced moisture wicking and quick drying function. Its crown and cheek pads are both removable and washable.
The new Kepina helmet arrives alongside a stacked RPHA 12 line-up, which includes two Fabio Quartararo replica designs, a Red Bull Austin GP-themed helmet and other quirky designs such as a Venom 3 Marvel lid.
Sizing ranges from XS to 2XL, while the Pinlock Ready HJ-42 Visor provides 99 per cent UV protection, and is anti-scratch coated.
