Insta360 brings out new BMW Motorrad camera
Insta360’s partnership with BMW has deepened through a new, limited edition, X4 action camera.

Insta360 has revealed a brand-new, limited edition BMW Motorrad action camera, which gains plenty of new features and a more streamlined design.
Back in July, Insta360 launched the BMW Motorrad X5 camera, which bolstered a mini remote and ultra battery as part of its impressive feature list. But the new X4 is just as impressive as it gets new updates and a dedicated Dashcam Mode.
Insta360 says the look of the new limited edition BMW Motorrad X4 is fully inspired by the German company, while its Thermo Grip Cover has also been given a fresh coat of paint to enhance the overall design.
Now, one of the most impressive features of this new action camera is its user interface, which includes a new BMW Motorrad stats overlay setting. This means that when editing, you can apply an overlay to show your speed, direction, heart rate, gradient changes, and more onto your 360-degree footage.

Then there’s the above-mentioned Dashcam Mode, which works based on the storage space you have available. Insta360 says riders “can set aside a specific portion of your memory card (like 5 per cent, 10 per cent, 20 per cent, or 30 per cent) just for Dashcam Mode recordings. It'll keep capturing those crucial moments on the road, automatically overwriting the oldest files when space gets tight.”
The new camera is available globally but is limited to just 2000 units. A BMW Motorrad-branded Carry Pouch forms part of the extensive accessories kit for this limited edition X4 camera, as do a set of stickers.
Max Richter, VP of Marketing at Insta360, said this about the BMW Motorrad X4 camera.
“This special edition Insta360 X4 perfectly embodies the spirit of adventure that both Insta360 and BMW Motorrad share. We're proud of our partnership with BMW Motorrad and our shared passion to push limits and tell stories in a way that truly reflects one of life's many thrills."
